Hello Les Bois Family,

It is May and the last month of school. The days will fly by as we only have four weeks of school left.

Sports

The track team will be competing at Regionals today and tomorrow.

The City Track Meet will be held on May 10th at East Jr. High

9th Grade Tennis matches are happening and the players will compete in the City Tennis Tournament on May 18th.

Cheer Tryouts start today and will continue through the week.

All current 8th graders, planning on participating in athletics as a freshman will need a new physical. They can get this done at any time now and it will be good for their freshman and sophomore years.

Activities

Thank you to all who came and supported our artist at the Les Bois Spring Art Show. I am always amazed at the artistic talent we have. Thank you also to Mrs. Waterman, Mrs. Paris and Mr. Stein.

Academic

Friday May 12 will be the last day to turn in late or missing assignments from the 4th quarter. Also all library books will be due that day.

As we move through the fourth and final quarter, remember you can always monitor your students academic progress through Infinite Campus and check on student assignments through the teachers website. Teachers Websites

When your child needs to leave school during the school day, please leave a message on the attendance line at 208-854-5340 or email dolores.larrick@boiseschools.org at least one (1) hour in advance for a permit-to-leave (PTL). Students may not leave class without a PTL. When the student returns to school please remind them to check in at the office.

Due to bus capacity, if your student would like to ride home with a friend then we need a letter from each parent requesting the ride. We will then have to call the bus company to make sure there is room on the bus. We cannot displace regular riders. Once we have confirmed there is room for the students, the principal will approve. Please plan on making this arrangement at least one day in advance so we have time to approve or deny the request. Thank you.
