Casual Custodians Needed

Do you want to work with the best team in the world? Of you course you do, who wouldn't. Good news! We are looking for casual custodians to help out Mr. Rye, Mrs. Samalla, and Mrs. Antazo when they need to be away. I hear it pays pretty good and the people you would work with are awesome. If you would like more information, please contact the school.

We Have a Lot of Fun

An event last week reminded me how much fun it is to work at PPCS. I was in the grade 6 room helping get some technology working. One of the students mentioned that they had both their Health and Science in the same binder. Mrs. Brezinski said that they should keep them separated. This led me to sing part of Offspring's Come Out and Play....You gotta keep em separated. That led to an impromptu duet and some very confused grade 6s.

That is how we roll at PPCS. We are a family that loves each other and loves working with each other. Staff and students alike, we have mutual respect for each other and a trust that creates an environment of comfort and safety. We have worked hard to create this and defend it viciously. We are so honored that you trust us with your children and do our best to make it an amazing (and occasionally mortifying) experience for them.

Last Friday we took a group photo with a large number of students from grades K-12 (anyone who wore blue or yellow-see above). This was the first time in 3 years and it felt awesome. I cannot even begin to express how excited I am for more of these kinds of moments. We were and are a family that has been separated from each other by COVID and we are so VERY ready to be back together.

Like I have always said, we are just better together.

Books make great gifts!!

Paper Bag Princess Day - A Huge Success

Our students enjoyed listening to Robert Munsch's, Paper Bag Princess and making Elizabeth and/or Dragon puppets. A great story with a great message.

Jump Rope For Heart was Awesome

It was awesome to hold our annual Jump Rope for Heart event. Our students spent the day jumping rope, trying some tricks, and showing off their skills. Once again the long rope was a favorite of all the students.

Thank you to our families. Our bring a toonie campaign raised over 300$ for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Draws will be made Monday afternoon for the prizes.

New Website

One of the things that came out of COVID that has been positive was the addition of an online payment portal.

For all of our fundraisers and many other things that require payment, we are able to set up options in our online store to allow families to pay with credit cards.

School Clothing Error

I spoke with the clothing company. The company is securing the rights to the retro logo. They will then reprint the retro orders and send them out. There is no extra cost and there is no need to return the erroneous orders. Back orders are expected to be in within the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience.
