African American Science Fiction Writers Coming to Grady

Please join the Grady Art Department, Book Club, and the Color Our Community Foundation for an evening celebrating African American science fiction writers. You will have a chance to meet five authors, win free books and art, and learn about the world of Steamfunk where African American culture collides with the steampunk aesthetic,
The featured authors include Valjeanne Jeffers, Balogun Ojetade, Milton Davis, Gerald Coleman, and Munson Steed. The Grady Book Club purchased books by some of the authors and will give away free copies at the event. You can also find books by the featured authors in the Grady library - be sure to stop by the library and see the special display.
