EXPRESSIONS OF EQUITY
Exton Elementary is creating a series of culture quilts that will represent the diversity of our school. Each student will have the option to take part in this project. You should have received a paper square to help your child share your family’s culture; some special words from your home language, pictures that show a celebration, tradition, food or music you enjoy together. Your child can draw the pictures or use clipart. These paper squares will be displayed as cultural quilts by class for all to view during the art show.
We hope you enjoy this project. Please have your child return the quilt square to school by Thursday, 4/20/2023. As a reminder, this activity is optional.
Thank you for sharing your culture with us.
