JANUARY 27, 2022

It has been a short week with late starts and a day off. Hopefully the cold weather will subside soon and we will get back to normal.

We were able to have our Admissions Open House last week and had several new families tour our school and preschool. If you know of someone who missed out, please have them contact the office to schedule a tour or to simply ask questions.

Our Annual Appeal is underway, and we have received many generous donations. We are at 53% of our goal for the appeal and Main Event combined and anticipate more donations in the coming week. Our committee has secured some amazing gifts for our live and silent auctions at the Main Event on February 26. Mark your calendars and purchase your tickets at the link below to attend this fun event and help us reach our goal.

Don't forget to join us for Saturday, 5 PM Mass to kick off Catholic Schools Week. Students should wear their black school shirts and families are encourage to wear St. Patrick attire to show our school spirit.

Note: Mrs. Stone is back in the classroom this week before starting chemo on February 3. Please read the note below explaining her future plans.

FROM MRS. STONE

To all St. Patrick families,

For those of you who don’t know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2021 and recently underwent a double mastectomy. My oncologist has recommended 20 weeks of chemotherapy starting in February.

Due to the side effects of chemo and my lower immunity, I have made the difficult decision to not return to school this school year after my chemo begins. Because every family has different experiences with cancer, feel free to discuss my diagnosis with your child(children) as you see fit.

FAITH

Faith families provide such a unique opportunity for our students to gather and get acquainted with friends from various grade levels. It warms my heart to see the interactions of these children!

EXCELLENCE

Clover Patch Preschool gives our 3 and 4 year olds a jump start to their formal education. There is a wonderful balance of academic and social teachings combined with a lot of fun. The children that come to kindergarten from Clover Patch are well prepared and ready to succeed!

SERVICE

Thank you to our student tour guides! Having our student ambassadors share their thoughts about our school means so much to prospective families. These students speak from their hearts with a genuine love of St. Patrick School.
