Facts and info about the Skeletal system

Homeostasis

Tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes.

When an individual is healthy, his or her body temperature retains a temperature 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The body can control temperature by making or releasing heat.

Digestive System

Provides the body with necessary materials from the food you eat so it can function properly and give you energy.

Brakes down food into small molecules, which are then absorbed into your body.

Homeostasis examples:

1. Acid base balance

2. Glucose concentration

3. Calcium levels

4. Fluid volume

5. Body Tempeture
