what is tobacco?

Tobacco is a green, leafy plant that is grown in warm climates. After it is picked, it is dried, ground up, and used in different ways. It can be smoked in a cigarette, pipe, or cigar. It can be chewed (called smokeless tobacco or chewing tobacco) or sniffed through the nose (called snuff).

The additive agent in tobacco is nicotine which is powerful stimulant and it increases the heart rate, appetite suppressant, engages the adrenal gland-increasing the sense of happiness.

The Dangers of it

Tobacco leads to disease and disability
Like smoking causes cancer, heart disease, stroke,and lung diseases ( including emphysema, bronchitis, and chronic airway obstruction).

Facts: approximately 70% of smokers want to quit completely, 5 million people usually die from tobacco, and it has an addictive substance called nicotine.
