Single Point of Entry Procedures for 2019-20
We are implementing several new safety measures this year in response to state legislation, SB 7026 and SB 7030.
Single Point of Entry Procedures:
The only entrance to the school is through the front office where you will sign in and be cleared to enter the front gate.
All exterior doors to our school will be locked during school hours unless the door is manned at arrival and dismissal times.
Bus Loop:
Vehicles are not allowed to enter the bus loading area during bus loading times or school hours. There is no pedestrian traffic through the bus loop gates at any time. If walking to the school from the road, please enter through through the front gate.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at 863-462-5077.

Arrival & Dismissal Procedures for 2019-20
- Students can be dropped off no earlier than 7:30 AM. School staff is not available to supervise students before that time.
- If your child arrives after 8:00 AM, an adult needs to sign him or her in at the front office.
Dismissal:
- All children will home by their normal method unless there is a note from a parent in their agenda or unless the office receives a phone call changing their transportation.
- There will be no changes to student afternoon transportation after 2:30 PM.
- Student checkout ends at 2:30 PM.
- If your child is parent pickup, we cannot release them to you at the front office or allow them to be taken out of line by a parent. This is done in order to keep all of our children safe.
If you have any questions regarding dismissal, please feel free to contact the office at 863-462-5077.
Walking My Child to Class!
We request that you do not enter the classroom unless a meeting has been scheduled with the teacher ahead of time.
Be sure to call or write a note in the agenda to set up a meeting with your child's teacher if you would like to meet. You may also take advantage of the APTT meetings that will be held during the year to speak with your child's teacher about your child's progress.
Agenda's are a great communication tool. They will be sent home later this week.
