Frost PTSA Celebrates Bus Drivers During Staff Appreciation Week
Unfortunately, many of us forget our bus drivers. We at Frost Middle School were also guilty of this oversight. Upon learning about an incident involving a broken bus window and the frenzy that it caused, we realized that our bus drivers, the dedicated people who we trust to drive our children to and from school safely, were completely overlooked as part of Staff Appreciation.
With an overwhelming response by parents to a sign up genius, and the generosity of Bill Carbott at Absopure; Donna at Better Made; Ed Buison at Biggby Coffee on Ann Arbor Road; Pam at Joe’s Produce, and Ann Kozlowski at Jet’s Pizza on 5 Mile, we were able to put together a wonderful treat bag for each of the 31 drivers and bus paraprofessionals who serve Frost.
A few of the board members took the filled bags to the transportation department and handed them to each of the drivers. This is certainly an activity that Frost would love to see continued, ideally district-wide. The drivers were incredibly appreciative, and they certainly deserve our thanks.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SERVE AT THE PTSA COUNCIL LEVEL?
Serving on the Executive Board requires good communication and organizational skills, a willingness to coordinate the business and activities of the association, cooperation with all members, the ability to offer leadership services when called upon, and the desire to make the schools a welcoming place where all students may enjoy the benefits of PTA/PTSA.
Committee Members may serve at the Council level without being voted on as formal members. This is a good way to try out Council and become familiar with our work.
Nominations season is upon us! If you would like to apply for a position on Council, you can find an application on our website, under the "Resources" tab. Scroll down to "Other forms and documents"
https://livoniaptsacouncil.org/resources/Note: Many of our Council Officers have Youngest/Only students who will be seniors in 2017-2018 and some no longer have students in LPS. We need to start training our replacements Now. Could it be you?
