Have a Great Friday!
I also won't be able to attend tonight's staff party at Jill's. I got tickets to the "Drumline Spectacular" performance at Divot's 2-3 days before the party was set for tonight. Have a great time and Thank You to my Secret Santa!
Nichole Marshall will be picking up the Penny War money Friday afternoon. 8 of the 10 containers are in a box in Josh's office right now. I think the best bet would be to keep it in Josh's office and have Nichole pick it up there (that box is getting HEAVY!)
Still Need Your Technology Ideas
As you created your technology goal last week for the Instructional Model, did you think of something you'd like to learn more about or have your students learn more about? Maybe Mickei or Becky could help! I want to utilize all the resources we have at our disposal!
Some of the notes I took about your possible interests have included:
Seesaw, Google Classroom (how to assign projects, do exit tickets, and polling), Google Slides, Ed Puzzle, Pearson/Envisions/Wonders materials, coding, Wizer, Google Survey, and Nearpod.
What else are you interested in?
January 3-4 Plan
It's a JEANS DAY! You may wear jeans and any appropriate shirt (does not need to be Panther wear)
Two divisions: PreK-5 and 6-12.
PreK-5 starts at 8:30 in the High School Little Theater. Our morning will focus on our Instructional Model. You'll be able to "Select a Session" about one of the seven Instructional Model components. You'll attend two different sessions, then we'll meet as a staff to discuss our takeaways and goals for 2nd semester.
Lunch will be on your own from 11:45-1:00
In the afternoon, we will be in Johnny Carson Theater and we'll be discussing school safety.
6-12 staff will do that same things are we do; they'll just do safety in the morning and instructional model in the afternoon.
January 4th is also a Jeans Day and we will have the day to work in our rooms. No meetings are planned.
