4T Virtual Conference Newsletter
Save the Date! May 21st-23rd 2016
The 2016 4T Virtual Conference will be held on May 21, 22 and 23. The format will be the same as it has been the past two years. All day breakout sessions on Saturday and Sunday, with the opening Keynote Sunday night! More break out sessions on Monday the 23rd from 4:00pm EST until 9:00pm EST. We hope you will join us!
Our lead presenters are educators who are using technology in effective, innovative and creative ways to enhance learning. As a lead presenter you will attend 12 hours of online professional learning workshops on how to effectively design and present a webinar. The workshops are lead by digital literacy partners at the UofM School of Education, UofM School of Information, Oakland Schools and Washtenaw ISD. You will be teamed with a preservice teacher who will be moderating your session. You will work together to build an interactive and unforgettable session for our 4T participants. All presenters will earn an honorarium of $300.00, no cost 15 hours of CEUs, and a certificate from the UofM School of Education on your skills as an effective online instructional designer of webinars. Each year the 4T committee selects 7 to 9 teachers from across the U.S. to participate in these interactive workshops, where you will build your PLN with this collaborative cohort of educators!
