Digital Learning Day Activities

N-CCS is Celebrating #NCDLDay from 2.17 - 2.19.16!

Welcome to #NCDLDay!

Technology is becoming a ubiquitous part of all aspects of our lives. From smartphone technologies that "swipe" our credit cards wirelessly, to social media that connects us to others instantaneously, these technologies prove that it is an exciting time to be alive.

To celebrate and bring awareness to the impact that the Digital Transition is having on our schools, we have put together this list of challenges for you to use and complete today through the end of the week (2.17.16 - 2.19.16). If you have any celebrations taking place in your schools,

If you're participating in Digital Learning Day by completing one of these activities between now and the end of the week, please fill out the form below! Those who participate will receive a one-of-a-kind Digital Badge endorsement for e-mail, Social Media, and your classroom door, and the TOP school for Digital Learning Participation in N-CCS will receive a special banner in recognition of their achievements!

What are you waiting for? Dive in -- and if you have any questions, please let me know!

Your Friendly Neighborhood ITF,

Jamie

Film A Day in the Life of a Digital Learner

Mission: Take photos and videos of digital learning in your classroom across a whole day (or multiple days). Turn them into a video using iMovie (iPad), Windows Movie Maker, Animoto, Stupeflix, WeVideo, or any other video editing software! Better yet -- have your students take ownership of the action and create the video!

Videos must be submitted by Wednesday, 2/24 at 5:00pm to the Google Form embedded below.

The best video submission from a Newton-Conover teacher or leader will receive some special Digital Learning SWAG!
