for Thomas Jefferson High School
Public Comment Period Open through Nov. 19
Federal Way Public Schools is improving school facilities throughout the district, thanks to voter approval of the phase two bond in November 2017. Thomas Jefferson High School is one of the eight schools to be rebuilt as part of this bond, and our team is currently working hard to design this new school.
The next step in the process is to complete an environmental review under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). The attached Notice of Consultation document provides an invitation to participate in this process by reviewing project materials and providing comments on the proposal. The documents will be available beginning Oct. 29, 2018, and comments must be received by 5 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2018.
After the comment period, all comments will be reviewed, then a formal environmental determination for the project will be issued and made available.
