Title I Launches a New School Year
Welcome Back! August/September 2020
Virtual Learning or Classroom Learning?
We are excited to return to our host schools in whatever capacity the school has chosen for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. Whether learning is taking place in-person or at home, we are ready to help our students achieve and grow as learners. In the event that the school changes its format, for any reason, we are prepared to follow in the new direction chosen by the school. Our goal is to make this year a success for all involved.
Distance Learning Will Offer a Variety of Resources
Teachers have been trained to plan and carry out lessons in Zoom and Google Classroom, using the format preferred by their host schools. Through our earlier spring experiences, and exploring a plethora of online resources, we have gathered some spectacular tools to make lessons engaging and effective.
Professional Development Better Prepares Teachers to Create Safer Learning Environments
Best Practices
Teachers are trained to teach and utilize the proper prevention procedures with students, This will help flatten the curve with PPE, social distancing, and other "Best Practices" to stop the spread of Covid-19
PPE Supply Kits
Each teacher has been provided an assortment of Personal Protection Equipment to keep the children as safe as possible, including step-by-step instructions to assure proper implementation.
Clean and Disinfect
Teachers are trained to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and air in the classroom. Frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before each small group enters the room.
2020-2021 Introductory Meeting/ Open House in the "New Normal"
Please watch for each school's Title I Teacher to schedule and hold Virtual Introductory /Open House Meetings, in accordance with CDC Guidelines. You will still be able to meet the teacher, learn about the Title I Program, and have all of your questions answered, as well as receive valuable information and resources. And as a bonus - it will all be carried out in the comfort of your own home, (shoes optional). We will be reaching out to everyone, as soon as student enrollment and initial testing is complete and approved, and classes are set up. We look forward to meeting everyone.
