Dress For Success in our Muddy/Wet Yard

At Elginburg, we believe children should get dirty!

Playing in water and mud is a part of childhood! Learning from play is an extremely important part of growing up! We embrace their curiosity and innovation.

If your child hates wet pants or feet, please send an extra pair of socks and pants. Tall rubber boots are also a great way to keep their feet dry!

We apologize for the extra work the mess at the end of the day creates at home!

End of Day Safety

Our school has been working with the City of Kingston, Kingston Police and the Limestone District School Board to improve student safety before and after school.

I encourage you to send your child on the bus, as it helps with traffic congestion.

We are asking that you use the traffic lights on Sydenham road to cross the street or hold your child's hand.

The Police have been in front of the school giving out tickets several days a week. We are still working on a more permanent solution.

Thank you,

Martha Duncan
