Tiger Tribune
White Plains High School Principal's Newsletter
November 2021
From the Principal
Dear Tiger Families,
It is hard to believe that we are more than one quarter of the way through the 2021-2022 school year already. At this point into the second quarter, students should be into well established routines with their classes. Parents should take the time to discuss grades with their child, and develop a plan on ways to do even better than the first quarter.
As the weather begins to quickly shift from fall to winter in the coming weeks, it reminds us of the holiday season, which begins this week with Thanksgiving. This time of year is focused on family, gratitude, and a spirit of caring. We are grateful for the hard work that our custodians, support staff, and faculty do to ensure our students have a great experience here at WPHS. We are also grateful for the continued support of our families and PTA, who consistently step up and support the work that we do! Finally, we are fortunate to have students that work hard, care for others, and challenge all of us to be better on a daily basis.
We want to thank you for your continued support and partnership with our common goal of your child's success in the 2021-2022 school year.
Respectfully,
Emerly A. Martinez
Principal
