Tiger Tales
April 2022 Edition
A Note From the Principal
Dear Hemmenway Parents & Guardians,
With the school year almost over, it's time to reveal the great news that our campus will be renovated this summer. If your child will be returning next year, they will be entering a campus with new paint, new carpet, new furniture, new security with podded classrooms and added doors, and a new fence surrounding the campus. Hemmenway, on the inside, will look completely different with an upgraded environment. We are so excited that our students will have everything new, as they definitely deserve this!
Sincerely,
Dr. Silliman

5th Grade Celebration - May 13th
We are so excited that our 5th grade students will have the opportunity to celebrate their 5th grade year at Andretti's Indoor Karting & Games in Katy on Friday, May 13th. We want all of our students to attend, but they will have to EARN this opportunity. Student misbehavior always increases this time of year, so in order for students to be able to participate in this celebration, they will have earn points through great behavior to attend. Please know, that all money paid to go on the field trip is non-refundable. Therefore, if you have paid, please encourage your child to follow all campus expectations. If they do not earn the points to attend, money paid will not be returned.
This is a very special privilege for our 5th graders. They must understand that this celebration is not a right.
