Please see the attached form regarding annual class dues. Typically we collect class dues during August registration. However, due to the change in our registration processes this school year we were unable to do so.
We are very excited to offer you the opportunity to pay the fees online. If for any reason you are unable to pay online, please have your student turn in their money to the front office in an envelope labeled with their first and last name. Money not paid this school year will roll over to the next school year.

Shoes for Kids
Hallsville's NHS and Z Club raise money each year to buy shoes for students at HISD. This year, they purchased 75 pairs of shoes for students in grades pre-K-5 who would otherwise go without. On December 11th, Elementary students from North and East came to Hallsville High School and had a day of fun with games, crafts, and a visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their extra helpers. This program allows our high school students to meet an emotional and physical need for our young Bobcats as well as learning some valuable lessons about serving others. According to one student, "This is the best Christmas present ever, you don't know how bad I needed a new pair of shoes."
Congratulations to students who passed their Phlebotomy exam!
FOUR CURRENT AND FORMER HALLSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’S WORK RECOGNIZED AT ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Texas Photography Society 2020 International Students Competition jurors Ginger Cook (Texas A&M University-Commerce), Steve Goff (Odessa College) and Chris Ireland (Tarleton State University) have selected the works of four current and former Hallsville High School students as some of the 50 images for the organization’s annual online exhibition.
The works of Allyson Runk (HHS ’20), Amber McDowell (HHS ’20), senior Madison Buchanan and junior Taylor Land are now online as part of the organization’s 2020 International Student Competition gallery, which celebrates the work of high school and middle school photographers. The images were selected from hundreds of global student submissions
Runk also achieved an Honorable Mention Award for her image “A Dancer’s Perspective” in the Sports/Action category.
The panel of three jurors selected 50 images for the online exhibition. In their official remarks the three stated,
“We were fortunate and privileged to look at many great images submitted for this exhibition. We were impressed with the technical abilities and vision of these young people. It is evident they are getting a rich education in middle and high schools across this nation. We would encourage everyone who entered to keep photographing, keep learning and keep growing for next year's competition. TPS is proud to support ATPI and all young photographers!” — Ginger Cook, Steve Goff and Chris Ireland
The contest was held in collaboration with the Association of Texas Photography Instructors (ATPI).
All 50 gallery selections can currently be viewed at http://texasphoto.org/contests/Student/2020-2/selected/
