Social Studies
Students in both Ms. Jeffrey and Mrs. Mead's classes have been working on a research/ technology project. Students worked with Mrs. Williams in the STEM lab to move a robot Dash across a map of the United States. They coded Dash to visit a state from each region. There is also a measurement component to this project that will require students to convert centimeters to meters and kilometers. Additionally they are researching each state/region and writing postcards they design to Dash's sister, Dot. We hope students have enjoyed this project!
Mrs. Mead's students took their Southeast States and Capitals Quiz on Wednesday. Students are required to get at least 70% on the quiz. They will retake the quiz on Thursday, November19th if needed. Our Midwest quiz will be on Friday, November 20th.
