Orchard Gardens Weekly Update

We will be distributing learning kits to all students on September 17th and 18th. Kits will include basic supplies and materials that your child will need when learning from home.
Grades 5-8: Thursday, 7:30AM-12:00PM
Grades 1-4: Friday, 7:30AM-12:00PM
**If you have children in multiple grades you can pick up on either day.
Please make sure you socially distance and wear a mask when picking up.
Please write your child's name and grade on a piece of paper and attach it to your window if you drive to pick up materials.
The Boston Public Schools (BPS) is providing Chromebooks to all students this year, which means that your child will get one if you are new to BPS or if your child did not get one in the spring. There is no Google form for sign ups. A new tracking system will be used to determine which students currently have a device and who needs one. The Chromebooks are being distributed in two phases:
BPS emailed all NEW families on 9/8 to schedule a Chromebook pick up time. Pickups are by appointment only.
Orchard Gardens will contact families who did not request a Chromebook in the spring to find out if you now need one. Chromebooks will be distributed from the school by appointment only.
Mark your calendar! The dates for our monthly food pantries are: October 21st, November 18th, December 16th, January 20th, February 10th, March 17th, April 14th, May 19th, June 16th
