Clinton Cougar Newsletter

January 2021

Dear Clinton Families,

I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday break. We are excited to have the students back at school and ready to learn.

The end of second term is rapidly approaching. At the end of the month we will be holding parent-teacher conferences, so watch for the sign up information coming soon.

Last year our students really enjoyed our InfiniD Lab, which provided an exciting digital STEM experience for the children. We will be starting this back up again for the second half of the school year. Students will sign up to come in on a Friday morning that is designated for their grade level. Students will be notified when it is their grade level turn.

Thank you for your continued caution regarding possible Covid transmission. At school, we are focused on wearing masks, sanitizing, and having students stay home for illness or exposures. We appreciate your help sending an extra mask in your child's backpack, in case it is needed during the day.

For Friday school work, or in the event of an absence, student's can access their Canvas account to get work and direction from their teacher. Teachers are happy to help with this if there are any questions.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Lundell

Principal Clinton Elementary

Counselor's Corner

January is a fresh start to a new year. People set goals and start working to achieve them. After a month or so, many goals fall by the wayside. The desire can leave because the goal is either too hard, takes too much time, or any other reason. It’s important to come up with steps to achieve our goals. Write down each step to help get you closer to your goal and who your support system can be. Let’s create the kind of year we want it to be. Here is a link for goal setting ideas that came from our district this morning. https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newHTE_90.htm

Thursdays- School Spirit Day!

Wear your school shirts on Thursdays this year. Shirts are available for purchase from the PTA or in the school office.
