Classroom Visits
I will stay 10-15 minutes max (unless you request otherwise) and I won't come in if it looks like you're giving a test. I certainly won't make it into every classroom so if you want to be on my MUST VISIT list, fill out THIS FORM.
Here's when you can expect to see me at your school:
12/04/18: LMMS
12/05/18: LHS (RMS postponed)
12/06/18: PGMS, SFMS, LAK
12/07/18: WFHS (VCMS postponed)
12/10/18: DHS (DMS postponed)
12/11/18: SFHS
12/12/18: FCHS, OMS, AAI
12/13/18: LMS, NFHS, NFMS
12/14/18: possible day for postponed schools (because yes, I am already behind)
Less-Paper Spotlight: Design Your Own
The Less-Paper Challenge Board offers 8 different ways that you can use a little less paper in your classroom, but there are many more ways that you can invent! What are some ways you've gone from paper to digital and saved some trees in the process?
Some that have been shared with me are:
- Online discussion board for short answer questions
- "Digital posters" for student presentations using Adobe Spark
- A Padlet board for digital sticky notes as an exit ticket
- Google Slides "sticky notes" for research organization
Check out the full Challenge Board HERE. To play along, click the blue "Use Template" button to make your own copy, then share it back to me. After you complete each challenge, add a checkmark image to the square that you did and a comment sharing how it went!
