NEWS AND NOTES
February 12, 2021

A Note from the Principal
-We do not have school on Monday for Presidents' Day. We will continue to monitor the weather situation and make appropriate changes and announcements as needed. Stay safe and warm!
-We are in the process of crediting lunches (both regular and Chick-fil-a) and aftercare from our distance learning period/ice days. If you have paid all tuition for the year, you will receive a check and if you still owe tuition, it will be credited towards your tuition.
-We were originally scheduled to have Catholic Schools Week last week. Due to Distance Learning and several events this coming week, we moved Catholic Schools Week to this coming week. Details below.
-As mentioned earlier, the Bishop will be joining us for two Masses this year. In order for our students to all participate, Bishop has kindly agreed to come on February 19th and March 12th. Our 5th-8th will participate on the 19th. Each week of the Bishop's visits, the grades not participating in Mass with the Bishop will still attend their normal daily Mass.

Catholic Schools Week February 16th

A Note from the Athletic Director-Brian Dee
We are in search of a parent or several parents to take on the duties of 5th-8th Grade Track coach for this season. We are in the process of deciding whether there will be a Diocesan Track Meet but there is a school wanting to host some smaller events if there is enough interest. Please email me if you are interested or know of anyone that would be. The practices would probably need to start after Spring Break and last until the end of April.
Middle School Golf
Middle School parents, we are exploring the idea of putting together a Spring golf program. We’re working through the details but it will likely be similar to what Ryan Ritchie did last year before Covid sidelined us. We would likely practice and/or play once a week for a few weeks throughout March and April.
Right now, we would like to gauge potential interest. If your son or daughter might be interested, please let us know.
