Martin Luther King Jr. was the second child in his family. He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlantic, Georgia. Martin was a hardworking, gifted person. he studied in medicine and law. But eventually, he started his career in ministry. Just like his father. His family consist of himself, his wife, and their four children.

Why Martin is a man of courage.

Martin Luther King Jr. took pride to give a speech about America being one! He wanted equality for everyone. He took action with courage, peacefulness, and non-violence. The people who followed Martin were people who wanted equality for everyone as well.

Events Martin Luther King Jr. Supported.

Martin Luther King Jr. supported many events. Including the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the March on Washington. The Montgomery Bus Boycott started when Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white man. The blacks took action ,peacefully, by not riding on any busses. Which made a great financial threat to the bus company. The March on Washington was a march made for equality and freedom.
