Nazareth Muslim Student Association

MSA Welcome Dinner, Thursday, September 23!

As Salaamu Alaikum!

Welcome back to those returning and WELCOME to the members of the Class of 2025! My name is Warith El-amin and I'm the Advisor for the MSA. As you know the MSA is an organization devoted to strengthening the Muslim community through service and activism. The goal is to educate both Muslims and others about the religion of Islam, by facilitating a better environment for students on and off campus.

I am very excited to have you as a part of the NAZ community. You are embarking on another leg of your journey and we are here to support you. This year we'll have Juma prayer every Fri. in the Sulam Center. We will also have our Islamic Study Circle and Halal meal at 4:30 every Friday. Our plan is to visit one of the masajid in the city of Rochester each month. Civic engagement is part of the service of giving back to our larger community. You can volunteer to work at a local charity once monthly if you so desire.

These are a few of the the events that you can participate in. Please understand that this is your college and your MSA. Feel free to reach out to myself, Dr. Shafiq (Hickey Center) or Sister Helin (MSA President).

AGAIN WELCOME !!

As Salaamu alaikum ( peace be with you)
