Tuesday, April 8th, 2pm to Wednesday, April 9th, 5pm
Newport News, VA
Starting on Tuesday April 8th at 2pm until Wednesday April 9th at 5:00pm, IJM at CNU will be standing for 27 hours to represent the 27+ million people who are enslaved today. We will have petitions that students can sign to raise their voices on the issue of sex trafficking and human slavery needing to become a bigger priority with the State Department.
Starting at 3:30 we have guest speakers from Empower ( http://endhumantrafficking.com/) , Release Me International (http://www.releasemeinternational.org/), and our very own First Lady sharing stories on how students CAN make an impact on the fight against modern day slavery and sex trafficking.
Stand with us. Stand for the enslaved. Stand for freedom. Visit http://www.stand-for-freedom.com/ to find out more and to sign up to STAND with us!!
