Lead2Feed Student Leadership Program
WHAT: Lead2Feed is a free leadership program that nurtures a new generation of leaders – the ones sitting in your classroom and school – while working to meet a community need through project management, decision-making and teamwork. Based on the best-selling book, Taking People With You by Yum! Brands Co-Founder, Former Chairman and CEO David Novak, Lead2Feed empowers students to act, to serve and to make big things happen.
WHY: The Lead2Feed Student Leadership Program blends leadership lessons with community service. These innovative leadership lessons are integrated easily into any subject area and all class or club settings. Designed to teach 6th – 12th graders how to lead and serve, Lead2Feed is available at no cost to educators and youth club advisers.
HOW: Give students a jump start into the real world of leadership by offering comprehensive lessons aligned to standards and 21st century skills. The Lead2Feed Student Leadership Program is helping to fill a gap in middle and high school education by giving students the opportunity to lead, create and implement team projects designed to meet a need in their school, local or global community.
