CALLISTO

Callisto was discovered by an astronomer named Galileo in the year 1610. Callisto is the moon of Jupiter. Callisto is almost as big as Mercury. Callisto's diameter is 2,996 miles. Callisto has an icy surface with a salt-water ocean under the crust. It is covered in dark dirt. Callisto has lots of craters from asteroids and comets. It also has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide. It takes 16.7 days to orbit Jupiter.
