This month our class has been talking about Habit 7: Sharpening the Saw. Ask your child, “How can you find ways to sharpen the saw?”

Important Dates
May 15 - Field Day - Since we will be outside in the afternoon you are welcome to send sunscreen with your child. He or she can apply this before we head over.
May 17 - Celebrate Schofield Night starting at 6:00. I will be over as soon as the kindergarten promotion finished. (I want to be sure to catch my son's kindergarten promotion/performance. I will hurry to be back but it may be a little after 6:00 before I am back in the classroom.)
May 21 - Last day of School (Dismiss at 1:00)

It is Schofield Elementary's goal to make sure more than 80% of students are proficient with Missouri Learning Standards for math and literacy. Check out our objectives to see how our class is working to achieve this goal.
Writing: Students will continue to research about their topics that have been chosen.
Science: Students will complete their ecosystem project to present.
Math: Students will be reviewing all areas of math.
