All I want for Christmas ...
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum
Fifth graders in Ms. Thomas’ science class at South Elementary used toothpicks and clay to make the tallest Christmas tree possible using the engineering design process. They first designed their trees on paper and then built, tested and measured their trees.
Dec. 18 was DEAR Day in Mrs. Tacke’s class at East Elementary. DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read. Fifth graders got comfy and read books in their pajamas.
