Update on Grading
We have asked teachers to tag items as incomplete in their gradebooks for any student who has not completed an online assignment that is to be graded.
The reason we are taking this step is to ensure that you, as parents, receive notifications if your child did not log in to complete an assignment. If you get a notice about an incomplete assignment, please ask your child to log into itsLearning and complete the assignment when they are able.
Our philosophy is to believe the best in our students. We understand that this is a difficult transition for many so we want to be proactive. We also want you to know that this is about communicating what is going on in each class so that you can help your children while they learn at home.
Students who receive this notification of an incomplete assignment will still have the opportunity to complete the assignment. They simply need to check ItsLearning for the specific class. If they need more direction, then you or your child can reach out to the teacher for that class to seek clarification on the assignment.
We appreciate our families!
