What Are We Up To In Room 221?

This week we will continue to learn about the Titanic and continue explore how we use text structures and text features to find information.

Students will also begin to read about presidents and find new information for those that they may want to learn more about.

Students are publishing their Titanic passenger reports. We are focusing on adding a strong introduction and conclusion for our pieces. We will talk about pulling the reader into your story and having a strong way to wrap up the story without using "the end" to finish a paper.

Spelling/Word Work

For the next few weeks, all student lists will focus on different prefixes required in 3rd grade. We will still be on our two week schedule with the next test being Thursday, February 11th.
