WolfPack Weekly
10/30/2020
Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Attendance Celebration and Supply Pick-up. If you were unable to pick up materials please stop by the front office anytime between 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
We are excited that we have been able to continue learning together during this unique time! Everything has been going well, and we are grateful for all of your support and patience as we have continued this journey together. Students, staff, and parents alike have all proven how adaptable and resilient they are, and we have all come to appreciate the collective dedication of the community.
As we kick off the second quarter on November 2nd, let’s all work to embrace a growth mindset. Growth mindset is the belief that intelligence can be developed. Students who possess a growth mindset focus on improvement instead of worrying about how smart they are. They work hard to learn more and achieve success. At LGAM, we believe and support a growth mindset approach and encourage students to work hard, persevere when things get tough and that this will help them reach their goals and ultimately improve. At home, you may hear your child talking about this and you can support them by encouraging hard work and persistence when there are challenges. Students who adopt a growth mindset are enthusiastic and see challenges as opportunities for growth rather than barriers.
We truly appreciate your ongoing support and believe that by working together we can create the best possible environment that allows students to achieve success.
As always, please contact the school with any questions or concerns.

The Internet is the new schoolyard at all hours of the day. Since the onset of COVID-19, students are online more than ever to access distance learning and exploring ways to stay connected to their peers. There are lots of great ways children can use devices to learn, connect, and play. Unfortunately, cyberspace is not all academia and friend connections — the internet can pose dangers if precautions aren’t taken, especially for children.
Discover some of the most common online risks to ensure your child stays safe, and learn more from our Mental Health & Support Services team about Cyberbullying, how to recognize signs and what a parent or guardian might be able to do if you either suspect your child is being bullied or bullying others here.
