Matt's Monday Memo
March 2, 2020
Good morning, Staff,
UPDATE: Last week was particularly challenging as we head into March. After taking the ACT our juniors went to the auditorium to hear from a panel comprised of 8 current seniors. Seniors responded to questions about senior year and the post-secondary search. The spoke glowingly of their experiences this year and the overall preparation they have received at Webster Groves High School. As the election cycle accelerates, I noted a quote I came across this weekend: “We believe that out of the public school grows the greatness of a nation.” Our seniors embodied that last week and inspire optimism for our work.
If you are concerned about our conferences next week and getting to the polls for primary voting, please connect with your supporting administrator to look at how we to work with the day's responsibilities and the schedule. Aside from adjusting your arrival or departure, Jaime Schwartz shared a link to fill out an absentee ballot. You can fill out this form, print it, and then potentially fax it in.
Please check into specifics for your voting eligibility, location, and format. Missouri allows absentee voting under some conditions, including, absence on Election Day from the jurisdiction of the election authority in which you are registered.
Thanks, Jaime. https://www.vote.org/absentee-ballot/
I am eager to witness All Write this week. Please keep to the processes that our hosts shared, and have a great week.
Regards,
Matt
