Hello Jackson Families!

It's hard to believe that this is the last week of the 2015-16 school year! Fifth grade graduation is tomorrow night from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the Jackson gym followed by refreshments in the cafeteria. It is always a little bittersweet as we bid our Fifth Graders goodbye! Friday is the last day of school, spirit assemblies, and report cards. Classes are dismissed at 12:00 noon.

You can still order school supply packs for the 2016-2017 school year online until June 10. You will also want to note some of the important dates below for the 2016-2017 school year!

Please check out Jackson's 2016 Summer Reading Challenge (below) and take a look at the Summer Reading Lists that are full of suggested titles to help your students meet the reading challenge. Recreational reading is not only fun; it is also vital for educational growth. Studies prove that continued reading during the summer months is important for preventing "summer slide" when the next school year begins!

We hope everyone has a fun and relaxing summer!

A Message from Nurse Wheeler

The following is a friendly reminder and follow up to the letter recently sent home with students. Parents, please do not forget to pick up any unused medications from the clinic on or before June 3rd. Any unused medications will not be sent home with a student and will be destroyed.

Thank you,

Nurse Wheeler
