Tonight!! Friday, April 28th 5:30-8:00
(Food Trucks begin serving at 5:00pm)
Come join us for an evening of amazing fun!
The food trucks will serve up a variety of foods to meet everyone’s needs starting at 5:00pm tonight. Part of all the proceeds from the food truck sales go straight back to CRES – so make plans to join us for dinner!
The face painters, balloon twisters, and magician will be there to entertain and amaze us all; and the kids will surely have a blast in the game wing! Game wing bracelets are $5 per child at the door, which allows them unlimited game play throughout the evening.
If you haven’t had time to check it out yet, the silent auction has already gone LIVE! You can begin bidding now, even before CRES Fest begins! The 250+ items in the silent auction provide something for everyone to bid on!
Click on the link to the silent auction site and register now by clicking the “Register for Event” button at the top of the page.

If you are unable to attend CRES Fest, you can still bid on the auction items from your mobile device through tonight.

Early Release Mondays Coming to HSE
Dear HSE Parents and Guardians:
To provide teachers with consistent and more frequent opportunities for professional development, Hamilton Southeastern Schools will implement a 20-minute, early-release day each Monday for students, K-12, beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. In turn, teachers will remain 25 minutes later on Mondays for a total of 45 minutes of professional development time each week. The first observance will be Monday, August 14, 2017.
The new weekly meetings will replace the four professional development half days currently in the 2016-2017 calendar. A link to the 2017-2018 school calendar is below:
http://www.hse.k12.in.us/resources/pdf/ADM/calendars/districtCalendar1718.pdf
High-quality teaching remains the standard in Hamilton Southeastern Schools, and we look forward to advancing professional development. We realize that such a change – once a week – impacts your schedules, and you need as much advance notice as possible to plan for next year. Thank you for your cooperation, and your continuous support of our teachers and students.
Sincerely,
HSE Schools
Bike to School Day Fundraiser
Cumberland Road Elementary
Wednesday, May 10, 2017
Mr. Greiwe’s 4th Grade class is super excited to announce the first-ever Bike to School Day. These 4th graders have used persuasive writing to convince the school board, Fishers Police, Mrs. Lederach, and the staff that EVERY CHILD DESERVES AN EDUCATION. Now we need the CRES Students and Families to join us.
We are raising money to purchase bicycles through the organization World Bicycle Relief. The money will allow children in several 3rd World Nations to receive a Buffalo Bicycle, enabling them to attend school and get an education. One of our school initiatives is to Show Kindness and Become an Everyday Hero. We want to give our students the opportunity to do this. We are asking you to consider making a donation of any amount toward this event, as well as participate by riding a bike to school.
Please register your cyclists by Friday, May 5.
