It it going to take all of us...
-Jon Shipp
At Rock River School we are fortunate to have 83+ kids that all are already a success story in one way or another; however, a story has more than one part, often more than one chapter, so the challenge then becomes how will we as caring adults help to add to their stories? The reality is that it is going to take all of us. We all have our parts to play whether it is teaching them to read, wiping their tears, helping them meet state standards, making sure they get to school on time, feeding their curiosity or keeping them socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically as full as possible, we all must contribute to each of their success stories. There is no better place than Rock River School to provide all of us the opportunity to be the caring adults that our kid's need

Longhorn Nation - Potential
An Empty Gym
Soon to be filled with activity from Mr. Alexander's K-12 PE classes to the sounds of games yet to be played, the Longhorn Gym began school with our first day assembly and will conclude school with the Class of 2019's graduation.
The Library
The hub of our school where one can witness a variety of activities:
- reading to preschoolers
- elementary students excitedly picking out books at the book fair
- secondary students researching materials for an upcoming project
- faculty/staff meeting to analyze recent state assessments
The Hallway
The path through which all of our students pass from class to class day by day. The sound of lockers opening and closing, and students moving through these hallways has been a welcome sound this first month of school!
