.....in the hallway and on the buses. If the safeties see the students following the expected behaviors, their class will get a tally. At the end of each month the class with the most tallies will get their picture taken, and 15 minutes of free time or extra recess. A Safari Interview by: Jack H., and Claire D.
Alex, Carter, Sophie, and Addison are all first grade students who wrote an astounding Safari Animal writing piece. They have all worked very hard, and are proud to have their pieces featured in the newsletter. Alex studied the jaguar, Carter studied hippos, Sophie studied ostriches, and Addison studied baboons. They all did their work on Friday, November 10th, 2017. The first graders had to find information such as the habitat of the animal, the food the animal eats, what it’s body is like, an interesting fact, and they drew a picture of the animal they have studied. Most of the students worked in their classrooms, but sometimes they worked in the computer lab. All of these students did this project to learn more about the chosen animal. Good job first graders! Thank you for letting us share your work with us! :) :) :):) :) :) :) !
