~What's Happening at Central Elementary~
Food for Families Drive Results
Thank you Panthers! We were able to collect 2,324 pounds of food. We were 2nd place in the school district. Excellent job Panthers! Thank you for giving to those in need. I think we have a good chance to take 1st place next year!
Mrs. Medrano's Class won for the class collecting the most items. They had #420 items and won a pizza party.
Hat Day School-Wide Fundraiser for Students

New Accelerated Reader Leader Board (Coming Soon!)
We love Accelerated Reader. The more you read the more you know!
Tip: Remember to keep that average test score at 85% or higher to be part of the AR Principal's Field Trip at the end of the year. Points to earn the trip will be announced soon!

There will be a PTO Meeting on December 10th in the Media Center. Please join us as we plan for a great night and fundraisers for our school. #panthertradition

Family Read Night on December 10th after brief PTO!
Please join us at 5 pm in the media center. We will have a brief PTO meeting and then move into our Family Read Night. There will be door prizes so we hope you can join us!
Reading Facts:
Starting in kindergarten, if a student reads 20 minutes a day at home, they will hear 1.8 million words per year. They will have read for 851 hours by 6th grade and on standardized tests, they will likely score better than 90% of their peers.
