This Summer's Theme: "Be Intellectually Curious"
Opening Day - Monday, June 22 - Marian University Stayer Center
Hey Students,
We are getting SUPER excited for the start of our summer session; planning lots of fun courses, activities, and field trips! Here is what you can expect day one:
8:30: Registration and Social (Atrium). Enjoy light breakfast items and introduce yourselves to someone new!
9:00: Welcoming Ceremony with Marian University President, Bob Fale (Auditorium). Meet your instructors and hear what they have planned for you!
10:15: Guest Motivational Speaker, Mike McGowan (Room 205)
11:25: LUNCH in Hornung Student Center (HSC)
*students with diet restrictions will have an opportunity to discuss these with Sodexo staff at this time
12:30: Guest Motivational Speaker, Mike McGowan (Room 205)
1:40: Informational Session, including distribution of schedules and review of student handbook (A100)
3:00 Dismissal.
Students arriving late should report directly to areas above.

What To Bring To The Summer Session:
1. White UBMS Binder
2. Signed TNT field trip forms, expected absence forms, transportation forms, and any other missing paperwork you've been asked to bring.
3. Green lanyard for name tags, if you have from last year.
Upon registration, students will be supplied with:
1. A Sports Bag.
2. A UBMS T-shirt, which is to be worn on all Friday field trips.
3. A Pen and Folder.
ALL LUNCHES, AFTERNOON SNACKS, TOURS AND ADMISSIONS ARE PROVIDED FREE TO STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM.

Field Trips!
Parents and Students, please take note of the times we will be off campus for field trips this summer. Some returns are expected to be later than 3:00, but could be even later depending on traffic or other unforeseen causes. We will have students or staff call or text home if we are expecting to be excessively late during any field trip. Please pay special attention to the 8 a.m. departure on July 10th.

Friday, June 26: State Capitol and Historical Museum, Madison 8:30 - 3:30
Tuesday, July 7: UW Fond du Lac (new students only) 1:35 - 3:00
Thursday, July 9: MPTC, FDL (new students only) 1:35 - 3:00
Friday, July 10: UW Stevens Point 8:00 - 4:00
Tuesday, July 14: Excel Engineering, FDL 1:15 - 3:00
Friday, July 17: EPIC, Verona, WI 8:30 - 3:00
Friday, July 24: Lakeland College and Maritime Museum, Manitowoc 8:30 - 4:15
The times are departing times and expected returns. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of all departing times.
Buses depart from the Stayer parking lot.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE OR HOME SICK FOR ANY FIELD TRIP WE ARE EXPECTING YOU AT, PLEASE CALL TRACY AT 920-602-2454 ASAP.
To accommodate tight schedules, we will only wait 5 minutes beyond departure time, for late students, before we have to leave.

Mr. Joseph Rutchik will be teaching English on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Mr. Rudy Alanis will be teaching Spanish on Mondays and Wednesday.
Mr. Nick Schumacher will be teaching Business & Technology on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Mr. Andy Brault will be teaching Math on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Prof. John Morris will be teaching Physics and Biology on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Students will attend three courses each day, Monday - Thursdays. Courses are 80 minutes each with a 10-minute passing time in between.

12:15 - 1:35 p.m.
There will be trips and workshops M-TH from 1:45 - 3:00.
