Christingle Service

As you know, we usually have a Christingle service for our younger children in the last week of term and will do so again this year (12th December). We normally provide a Christingle orange for all children in school, but sadly we have been unable to secure funding to do so again this year. Would you like to sponsor us? We can provide the other resources for Christingles but the price of oranges is about £20 which is more than we can provide. If you, or your firm, is able to help us in any way please do speak to the office.

Learning Reviews

Our Learning Reviews take place next week. We view these as an essential part of the educational process, and help to cement the partnership between home, school and your child. It is therefore important that all families are able to meet with their child’s teacher.

Christmas Fayre

The Christmas Fayre will take place in church again this year, after school on Friday 2nd December. This will be part of wider Christmas activities happening in the village throughout that weekend. Further details will be circulated soon.

School Lunches

After half term we will be on Week 3 of the New Autumn 2 lunches menu.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.

Each day there are 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

Packed Lunches - if you are sending grapes in your child's packed lunch, can you please ensure that these are cut in half.

Application for Pupil Absence Form

This form should be completed by the parent/carer and returned to the school as far in advance as possible and preferably preferably with sufficient notice before the first intended day of absence.
