FBMS - Staying Connected & Engaged March 23, 2020
Messages for our FBMS Families
- During the current school closure due to the COVID-19 cricis, our teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, administrative assistants, educational support professionals, tutors, and all MPSD staff will continue to be available for any questions that our students or families. Superintendent Granatino has asked us to stay connected and engaged with our students and families so you will continue to hear from us. If you have any ideas, let us know! We have a few ideas...so stay tuned!
- A few parents and students have contacted us about being allowed in the building to retrieve books, binders, etc. but we are keeping the building closed up so we don't risk any contamination. If this changes, we will be sure to let you know!
- We hope our students and families are following the CDC guidelines for social distancing but that doesn't mean you can't get outside and enjoy our beautiful community! Feel free to share photos (with parent permission) with us...maybe they will show up in some of our communications!
Huge THANK YOU to the FBMS PTO
The FBMS PTO has generously donated funds for us to buy gift certificates so we can send some lucky students surprises for their contribution to connecting with or working to improve our community.
Gratitude Journal
Mrs. Battis, MPSD Comprehensive Heath Coordinator, created and shared this Gratitude Journal. It is a great way to help take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Why not give it a try?
