From Mme Vines: What Are Students Learning in French?
C'est l'hiver! It's winter!
This week, students will answer the question, "Est-ce que tu aimes l'hiver?"
If a student likes winter, they would respond by saying, "Oui, j’aime l’hiver." If a student doesn’t like winter, they would respond by saying, “Non, je n’aime pas l’hiver”.
To add more detail, we add “parce-que” (because). For instance….
J’aime l’hiver parce-que c’est amusant de jouer dans la neige.
Je n’aime pas l’hiver parce que c’est toujours froid!
