Evidence of Learning Reflection
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We just wanted to bring to your attention that this past week your child will be reflecting on their “Evidence of Learning” in each of their courses. We would ask that this week you login, as your child, to each of their Google classrooms. In these classrooms, you will see specific activities/assessments that your child has reflected on, in which they have completed a “Student Learning Reflection” assignment for each of their classes. The goal of this assessment tool is designed so that you can have the opportunity to see their learning first hand and understand where they are, where they need to go, and how we can get there together.
Please sit with them as they allow you to have a window into their learning. Our hope is that the reflection that your child shares with you, will be valuable information for our upcoming Parent-Student-Teacher conferences.
Our teachers look forward to meeting with you and your child.
Yours in Christ,
St. Mary’s Staff

Staff Faces of STMY:
This week we highlight Mrs. Amanda Woitas. Amanda helps lead our Student Council and teaches Religion, Health, Drama, Art, and PE. We are so thankful for her wisdom and guidance as she helps shape the leaders of tomorrow in our building.
Mrs. Amanda Woitas
I am Mrs. Amanda Woitas, and I have the amazing job of teaching and connecting with St. Mary’s wonderful students and their families.
In school you will find me in Health and Religion, Art, Drama, and PED. I have a great passion for creating beautiful things and for helping others do the same. As well as to be active and having fun on a court, or a field. My list of what I do in school usually extends to student council, drama club, and with great hope that it may continue into this year.
While away from school my favorite activities include being with my family (My husband and my two beautiful children), playing slo-pitch and ball hockey, walking with my dogs, and creating art. Along with my faith, I have a great love for nature and will often use it to feel calm, well, and grounded.
I am very excited to connect with you all.
