Kia ora koutou,

4 great weeks have flown by. We had a fantastic day at the beach, an action packed Year 6 leadership camp on the school grounds and Tūhono had a very successful camp. Splash and Dash information is also included below. Please check out the important dates that are listed. Our first teacher only day is Friday March 20. School is closed on this day. The teaching staff will be working with Bek Galloway who is supporting our curriculum review and development.

Have a super weekend.

Arising from recent employment negotiations it was agreed by NZEI and MOE that Teachers and Principals are entitled to 8 teacher-only days over the next 3 years. These will be used to deepen knowledge around curriculum and assessment tools for learning and teaching. Frankley School will be using 3 of these days in 2020. As we use outside providers for Professional Learning we have to work around their availability. Thank you for your support.

Mornings at Frankley School

The bell rings at 9am. It is important that all children have unpacked their bags and are ready for learning at 9am. The teachers are in their hubs before the bell rings if you would like to touch base, or message them through Seesaw or email to make an appointment. Children are not to arrive at school until 8.20am as there is no supervision until this time. Please ensure you contact the office by 9am if your child is going to be away or late. Thank you.
