Families: Need Your Help With Student Drop-off and Pick-up (Safety and Kindness)
- Always use our campus loops for pick-up and drop-off. Do not park in the neighborhood and wait for your students as it is extremely unsafe for the kids and a nuisance to the people who reside in the homes nearest our campus.
- Never park in a resident's driveway to pick up your students. Remember, we have several on-campus drop-off/pick-up loops you can use, and they do run efficiently.
- Never block a neighbor's driveway or mailbox. Remember to use our on-campus loops.
- Help us remind students not to walk across our neighbors' lawns. Yard maintenance costs a great deal of time and money for homeowners. Foot traffic damages their lawns. Please help us reinforce kindness and consideration.
- Drive very slowly in our neighborhood and campus drives. The speed limit is 20 mph in the neighborhood.
Note from Mrs. Jackson: I personally have returned from meetings to campus during dismissal twice in the past two weeks, and I have witnessed things that are unsafe for our kids and unkind to our neighbors.
The greatest issue is the enormous amount of parent/pick-up traffic lining Crawford Farms Drive and Aster Ridge. The City of Fort Worth placed "No Parking, Stopping, and Standing" signs on these streets years ago after one of our students was struck by a van as she darted between two parked vehicles. Thankfully she survived with a few broken bones, but it could have been a tragic situation. We all need to practice safety and model for our kids abiding by the laws of our city.
I know we all have so much going on, but our hectic schedules cannot be more important than the life of a child. Please use our campus traffic loops. We have pick-up loops in the front of our building, the back (north) of our building, and the East side near our gyms. Use our traffic loops. They always clear by 4:05 PM.
I know you love our kiddos just like I do. I know you care. Please adhere to our traffic flow rules, and encourage friends and neighbors to do so as well. We are re-posting my traffic flow instructional video for you to review.
Thank you so much for your cooperation!
Parking Lot Before and After School
For our guests who have business to conduct in the building, we still have spaces available in our exterior tier of parking spaces, adjacent to our traffic loop. These spaces should be used only for people who need to walk into the building to attend a meeting, talk to a staff member, bring a forgotten item for a student, etc.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to improve student safety during arrival and dismissal.

Students are not allowed to carry medications in their backpacks or on them throughout the school day. All medication requires a form to be completed and medication will be given in the nurse’s clinic. Students may carry an inhaler if the physician signs paperwork and approves the child capable of administering the medication. Again there are forms to be completed and turned into the nurse’s office. Please call Nurse Danielson with any questions or concerns at 817-744-2620.
