Perkiomen Valley Athletics
Week of Dec 12
Winter Sports
We made history this week with our first ever girls' bowling match. Despite losing to a very good Plymouth-Whitemarsh team, it was awesome to see our young ladies competing and enjoying themselves. Lea Rubenstein highlighted the match by bowling a 200 in her first game. Our winter track and field team also had their first competition and you can find some of the results in the body of the newsletter below. The girls' basketball team continues to impress by defeating both Unionville and Ridley last week to improve their record to 4-0. For those of you who were unable to attend our boys' basketball game versus Chichester last week, you missed a great game. Our team showed resilience in overcoming a 10 point deficit to defeat Chichester 65-61 and improve our record to 3-0. We look forward to the start of our wrestling, swimming and diving, and freshman basketball seasons as well this week.
Sincerely,
Robert L. Felty Jr.

PERKIOMEN VALLEY SPORTS NETWORK
Welcome to the Perkiomen Valley Sports Network inaugural podcast featuring student-athletes and coaches from within the Perkiomen Valley School District. The production team is a collaboration of our Sports Marketing & Management classes, PVTV, and the Athletic Department here at PVHS. Our mission is to shine light and positive stories on impactful players, coaches, and teams within our school and discuss their experiences as student-athletes and coaches. This is the first of many podcasts that will be shared throughout the school year.
In this our first episode, our host Evan Kenny will be interviewing three PVHS Varsity golf team members: Ayush Patel, Abigail McCorkell, and Nadia Yackanicz. These golfers have all had very successful seasons and recently qualified for the PIAA District One Golf Championships. In the podcast they discuss their experiences and thoughts on being a part of the PV Golf Team this season.
We look forward to sharing more podcasts with you throughout the year.
