Hello Lopez Families,
There were a couple of really neat things that happened last week. First, if you remember my story from the last Post, we had a student create a really great project sending letters to veterans. That's not all...We also made the news with our drama students as they spent time with the Roy Maas Youth Alternatives Emergency Center. Check out the inspiring story:
Lopez was also selected to start Monday's district board meeting and we had two wonderful students take up this task of representing us. They did very well and I was so proud of them. Aidan Griffith gave an opening invocation and Maddie McElroy led the pledge. They did an excellent job and were congratulated by the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent. Before School Reminder
All students who need to attend morning coaching, meetings, or to see a teacher or staff member must have a note from their parent (either written, typed or on their phone). Please include the day's date as well. Thanks!
EXTRA EXTRA ... Need Help with Math, English or Reading
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, from 3:30 - 4:30, there will be certified teachers in the Library to help students out with their work. Students must bring assignments that they have questions about. This is for all grade levels.

The Diamondbackers are hosting the 18th Annual Diamondbacker All Sports Gala on Saturday, November 5th at the Alzafar Shrine from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am.
