Geography
Some major cities in Latvia include Riga, Daugavpils, and Vec-Liepāja. The country lies 656 down in elevation. The Baltic sea is on the coast of Latvia. About 10% of Latvia consist of bogs or other swamp lands. The two biggest rivers in Latvia both enter into the Gulf of Riga. They are the Gauja and Daugava rivers. The warmest month in Latvia is July. The average temperature in Latvia is 5.9 degrees Celsius.The main mountain range in Latvia is the Gaiziņkalns.

Government
The government Latvia has is a parliamentary republic, this is a limited government. Recently on 12 07 2015 the prime minister of Latvia quit leaving a temporary government failure. The Latvia government has some similar rules to the United States. There is a constitution of Latvia that tells all of the rules. There are then ministers and a parliament that vote on different laws and leaders. Unlike Latvia the United States only has one president instead of several different ministers. Latvia is part of the United Nations. Latvia is part of both the Nato and Baltic Entente alliances.
Economy
Latvia uses the Euro as its main currency. One Euro equals 1.12 US dollars. The GDP per capita in Latvia is 22.1 thousand. Last year Latvia exported 13.1 billion dollars and imported 16.9 billion. Based on the GDP per capita one can conclude that the US is a more wealthy country than Latvia. That is 55,000 vs 22,100

The dominant language in Latvia is Latvian. This language is spoken by over 80% of Latvia.

Education in Latvia begins at age 6 or seven and last for 9 years. Education is necessary for all kids and is free of charge. School is paid through taxes. Jobs in Latvia treat men and women different considering there is no law in the Latvia constitution against discrimination. The literacy rate in Latvia is 99.9 percent leading one to believe that education is highly enforced. The major ethnicities are Latvian, German, and Belarusian. The biggest ethnic group is Latvian. There have been no recent issues between the different ethnic groups.
Traditions, Holidays, and Festivals
One of the major festivals in Latvia is the Latvia song and dance festival. This festival has a mass number of Latvians singing and dancing to music. People wear very traditional clothing in Latvia. Some interesting Latvian food is black peas with bacon.

Based on the graph provided one can conclude that the Latvian government allows people to freely enter Latvia. All of the ethnicities on the graph are from bordering countries. If Latvia was not open to the public then all of the ethnicities would not be there. This leads one to conclude that the Latvian government allows people to freely enter Latvia.
