How will attendance be taken daily?
Although we are beginning the school year in a virtual format, student attendance is a priority for our school. Please be sure that your students are engaged daily. If we see a consistent pattern of absences, we will notify our school social worker. Contact Mr. Payne if you have any questions.
Grades K-1 – Participation: One of the following must be met each WEEK to mark a student’s daily attendance for the week:
· Submission of weekly work packet or
· Direct contact with parent/guardian that is logged or
· Participation in a synchronous lesson
Grades 2-5 Participation: One of the following must be met each DAY for ELA or Math to mark student present for daily attendance:
· Participation in a synchronous lesson or
· Direct contact with parent/guardian/student that is logged or
· Submission of an assignment
HOW DO I ACCESS THE ONLINE PLATFORMS?
- Login: Student ID/Lunch Number
- Password: Student Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR COMMUNICATION?
Teachers will reach out to parents once a week using the following communication tools:
Personal letters
E-mails
Scheduling a virtual conference
Phone calls
Parent Newsletters will be posted Liberty Point Website
Teachers will respond to all parent communication within one business day
Teachers will have morning and afternoon office hours on the Microsoft Teams Platform for parents and students to ask questions regarding assignments and grades
HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR A PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT?
All portal accounts require a 1-time activation to create your ID and password. You must be a parent/guardian of a current FCS student to activate an account. To verify identity, you will be asked to provide the following information about 1 student in your household:
- Student first and last name (as entered on birth certificate)
- Student ID number
- Student Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Student grade level (19-20 grade level)

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN HOUSE?
Liberty Point will host a virtual open house. The meetings will take place on Microsoft Teams. Parents will receive a link to sign on to the meetings. Below are the dates and times.
August 10th -Pre-Kindergarten - 5:00-6:00 pm
August 11th- Kindergarten & First Grade - 5:00-6:00 pm
August 12th - Second & Third Grade- 5:00-6:00 pm
August 13th- Fourth & Fifth Grade- 5:00-6:00 pm
HOW DO I REGISTER A NEW STUDENT TO LIBERTY POINT?
1. Please go to: https://www.fultonschools.org/enrollment and
complete the online enrollment/registration.
2. Once you begin, make a written note of your confirmation
number.
3. You will be asked to upload the following documents while
completing online registration:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Parent/Guardian GA Driver’s License
- Mortgage Statement, House Deed, or Lease Agreement
- Current Water or Electric Utility Bill
- Completed Immunization Form (Form 3231)
- Completed Eye, Ear, and Dental Form (Form 3300)
4. Once you have completed the registration, please email your
confirmation number to Shea Peoples at peopless1@fultonschools.org
